32mm bases are the ticket...

So i've recently acquired a batch of 32mm bases and have started the process of swapping my 30k stone men over to them. I am more than happy as they have allowed me to really to enhance the theme of the army with extra detail on the bases.

Collapsed walls, razor wire, reo bars and blown out retaining walls gives these mins the realm look of trudging through shattered concrete defences.

  1. The result is astonishing! Great work, I can just hope to get close to this with my own breachers when I finally start painting them! Looking forward to see more of your army :)

  2. Those look fantastic! I was initially resistant to the idea of 32mm bases, but I'm a true believer after doing a new army using them. Really gives the models a sense of mass and allows for some extra base detail which would otherwise feel 'squeezed' in on a 25. Awesome work, man!

    1. Spot on dude. I too was hesitant in the 32mm bases for reasons of transport but in saying that, how it gives them more mass and allows for extra detail is spot on and over weights the transport issue by far! Its making me even more keen and excited to get the rest of my army done.
