Emperor's Children Glaive.

Hey guys Wadey here. Well I've been away A LOT lately with work but have managed to find time to paint up a Glaive!

What an amazing model! This tank is my favorite of all the super heavy tanks and I really had heaps
of fun painting it. I think the ascetics of the Glaive make it a perfect addition to any Emperor's Children army as it looks sexy but is equally as deadly!

The main colours used for this model are as follows:

PURPLE
Xerxes purple - GW

WHITE
Menoth White base - P3
Menoth White highlight - P3

GOLD
Doombull brown - GW
Greedy gold - Army Painter
Nuln Oil - GW
Solid gold - P3

SILVER
Leadbelcher - GW
Nuln Oil - GW

TANK TRACKS
Leadbelcher - GW
Nuln Oil - GW
Typhos corrosion - GW
Rysa rust - GW

All the decals are from the Forge World Emperor's Children decal sheet and I used Micro Sol and Micro Set for their application.

I applied a coat of Tamiya TS-79 semi gloss prior to doing the decals and oil wash around the rivets etc and then a coat of Tamiya TS-80 matte coat to seal it when it was finished and dry.

Anyway I am quite happy with how it came out and I hope you all enjoy it.

Cheers,
Wadey
